GAH! x a million

*Bangs head against wall*
I missed my exam - I was so sure it was supposed to be this morning and it was yesterday instead! I was at the doctors yesterday morning and when I got back I thought I'd check the timetable to make sure the time hadn't been changed or anything which was when I realised my mistake - there were two criminology exams listed directly below each other and I'd seen the date for the wrong one. To be fair the file was in really small type and the when you're looking at it like that the difference between a 6 and 7 is easy to mistake, especially when everything else looks the same. Anyway I paniced and rang my teachers mobile, she was pissed because it was her day off but she could see I was upset so told me to ring her tomorrow. I calmed down a bit and sent her a long email and she replied saying: 'I will support you through this - don't worry. Sometimes we forget things and that's the way life goes. It's not the end of the world. Hope we can get you back on track.' I spoke to her this morning and she said that the people she needs to talk to about it are on holiday but I'll probably just have to redo the exam sometime next year so yay I'm no getting kicked off my course! I still can't believe I made such a stupid mistake though, but my friend Andy got the dates wrong too.
On top of that when I spoke to my teacher she said 'Oh I just noticed you didn't hand your first report in, why was that?' Erm yes I did...this is the second time university have lost my essay and then said I didn't hand it in! The system is stupid and unreliable! I did a resit anyway but I still want to be able to prove I did it the first time as it's a matter of principal.
Anyway like I said I was at the doctors yesterday morning - for the last few weeks the skin around my eyes has felt like someone has been rubbing it was sandpaper. The doctor said I have dermatitis around them so perscribed me a cream. Doesn't seem to have started working yet but we'll see how it goes.
Soon I'm off to my mums for a week so I'll be using my camera as much as possible - I've really missed not being able to use it lately. When I get back from there I'll hopefully be able to set up some more model shoots.
Finally it's my boyfriends 23rd birthday today, if anyone has any birthday messages for him feel free to leave them and I'll show him later. He keeps moaning about getting old - bless him.

Eep! At least your teacher seems to feel it'll be fine, I hope it all is! We all make the mistakes like that, I've very nearly done that myself. It shall be well! *snug*

Incidentally, you're a filthy pervert with a 23 year old boyfriend xxxxx

I know! In GCSE I almost missed a science exam because I thought it was in the afternoon but my teacher came and picked me up so I was only a bit late :P

haha, now that's what I call helpful dedication. Last one I made that I can remember was thinking an exam was in the wrong place (why Sheffield university doesn't just have all it's exams in the same area at least I don't know), was just 20 minutes late thankfully, after running all the way down to where it really was, heh.

Well, other than that I hope uni's going good for you, I didn't actually chat to you much on Pirate Night, sorry! It was more getting wrong-looking pics and drinking a lot (and you with your own little picnic, you little old lady you. Awesome outfit though).

Well, you are dear. And given what I'd drank it was surprising I could speak at all, never mind restrain myself or not repeat myself.

Haha that's true, Niall was pretty damn drunk by the end of the night too though. I think him and Elly were getting more drunk off each other in the end rather than the alcohol :P
